It’s not as bad as it sounds. The spirit of giving is still out there even with the current global economic climate. All it takes is creativity, determination and a support. Depending on your cause and organization, you can raise funds by doing the following:
1. The traditional proposal writing to potential donors explaining what you do, why you are asking for money, what impact you hope to create and the value it brings to the donor.
2. Crowdfunding. Through different online fundraising platforms like but not limited to giveacar, justtextgiving, easyfundraising etc) or through fundraising campaigns using social media (facebook, instagram, twitter, LinkedIn etc), and on your website.
3. Organize events such as: dinners, bake/food sales, sport event (run/walk/cycle/dance/hike)
4. Partnership with private and public institutions.
